Chronic Disease Management

Universal Health Care continues to be a priority agenda policy of the Kenyan government, in line with the World Health Organization’s Sustainable Development Goal 3.8, to “achieve UHC including financial risk protection, access to quality essential healthcare services and access to safe and effective quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.”

Chronic disease risk factor screening and medical management is the bread and butter of family medicine practice. Our goal is to set up a non-communicable chronic disease management clinic, conduct screening medical camps to raise awareness quarterly, and connect patients to longitudinal care at Gynocare’s outpatient clinic.
